Intervention Services in Arizona: Family Support for Addiction & Mental Health Recovery

Addiction and mental health challenges impact families across New Hampshire, with opioid use disorder, alcohol dependency, and co-occurring mental health conditions affecting communities statewide. According to recent reports, New Hampshire has one of the highest rates of opioid-related deaths in the country, underscoring the urgent need for effective intervention and family recovery strategies. The state also faces barriers such as limited access to treatment in rural areas, financial concerns, and stigma surrounding addiction and mental health treatment.

At Reflection Family Interventions, we recognize that addiction is a family disease. Our approach is rooted in guiding families through the intervention process with compassion, structure, and evidence-based strategies. Whether a loved one is resistant to treatment or struggling with relapse, a professionally facilitated intervention can be the turning point toward lasting recovery.

Why Families in New Hampshire Delay Seeking Help

Families often hesitate to intervene due to fear, denial, and uncertainty. Many loved ones struggling with addiction minimize their problem, convincing family members that they have control over their substance use. Others fear that confrontation will push their loved one away, leading to more harm. Financial concerns and rural accessibility issues further complicate timely intervention in New Hampshire.

However, waiting rarely leads to recovery. Without professional guidance, families often become trapped in enabling behaviors, offering financial support, covering up consequences, or avoiding difficult conversations. At Reflection Family Interventions, we equip families with the tools to break this cycle, providing structured interventions, recovery coaching, and transport services to help loved ones enter treatment safely and effectively.

Helping Families Break Through Denial with Compassionate Intervention

Denial is one of the biggest obstacles to recovery, not only for the individual but also for their family. Many well-meaning loved ones hope that their family member will recognize the problem and seek help on their own. Unfortunately, addiction clouds judgment and fuels self-deception, making professional intervention essential.

Our Intensive Family Recovery Coaching Program empowers families to step out of crisis mode and into a proactive role in recovery. Through education, boundary-setting, and wellness integration, we teach families how to support their loved one while prioritizing their own emotional and mental health. By shifting the focus from confrontation to compassionate accountability, families can motivate their loved one toward seeking treatment.

The Reflection Difference: Arizona Is Our Home

A well-structured intervention is not about forcing someone into treatment, it is about creating a moment of clarity where a person can recognize the impact of their addiction and accept help. Our experienced interventionists provide:

1. Professional guidance in preparing families for the intervention process

2. Trauma-informed coaching to ensure a supportive, non-confrontational approach

3. Strategic planning to align family members on a unified message

4. Treatment placement and transport assistance to ensure a smooth transition to care

Interventions increase the likelihood of treatment acceptance and long-term recovery by offering a structured, solutions-based conversation rather than an emotionally driven confrontation. Reflection Family Interventions helps families navigate this delicate process, ensuring that the message is delivered with love, respect, and purpose.

Drew and Shahar are so very patient and enormously kind. More than that, they are experts in the fields of treatment and professional intervention for a wide range of substance use and other addictions. I couldn’t recommend them more enthusiastically.

Our family had only hours to take action and help our loved one make the right decision for longer term care, and we could not have done it without the guidance and care of Reflection Family Interventions. Within hours, Shahar knew our entire story, had devised a full plan, and coordinated an interventionist flying in the following morning to learn about our story, our loved one’s struggles, and how to best approach things. Within the first few days, we knew we had made the right choice with Reflection. Now, after 6 months, we don’t know where we’d be without them. For anyone who’s been through this experience, there are a lot of ups and downs. Having Andrew and his team by our side throughout this entire process is what has kept us sane and constantly learning how to grow and improve ourselves. Behind their expertise, Andrew, Shahar, and the rest of the team simply bring such a great personal touch that makes them feel like part of the family. We cannot recommend them enough!

We’ve only been working with Reflections Family Interventions for about a week so far, but the impact has already been profound. From our very first conversation, I felt supported, understood, and guided through THE most emotionally overwhelming situation of my life. Their team helped us carry out an intervention that know we could not have done on our own. They were clear, compassionate, and deeply experienced — helping us prepare every detail while also preparing us emotionally for the moment. Even more importantly, they’ve continued to be there after the intervention, offering steady support and reassurance during the incredibly fragile days that followed. When my son was in crisis and I was flooded with fear and guilt, they took my calls and responded to my texts without hesitation — grounding me when I felt like I might fall apart. They helped me stay strong in moments when I would have otherwise caved, and reminded me of why boundaries are an act of love. That kind of support is priceless. I know we still have a long road ahead and several more months of support with them, but even this early on, I can say that Reflections Family Interventions has already changed the trajectory of our story. If you are feeling lost, scared, or unsure of what to do next — this is the team you want in your corner.

Without Andrew's team of experienced interventionists ( shout out to Tiffany) we would not have managed to get our son the help that he so desperately needs. Reflection takes a comprehensive approach, treating the patient and supporting the whole family so that all learn a new healthy way to function. We are very thankful.

My family found Reflections to help me go to treatment. With the help of Andrew, Shahar, and my interventionist, Eric, I can truly share gratitude for the time/effort this group put towards my recovery and my family’s healing. With weekly family meetings (with my family while I was in treatment—and all of us after), Andrew was able to help us redefine our family dynamic and rebuild individual relationships. Each phase of this process serves an intentional purpose (planning, intervention, treatment, family mediation, aftercare). And, of course, a special shoutout to Eric who was able to understand/address my family while we were in one of the darkest, most broken places. I can’t describe my appreciation for Reflections (and Eric) whom had a solid plan to get me to treatment whether it was going to take 20-minutes or 4 days. Much gratitude

We did not know where to turn to get the necessary help for our family member who was desperately in need of treatment. We were told about Reflection Family Intervention and called them right away. We spent hours talking with Shahar about the situation and explaining the importance that we needed to get help ASAP. She was a very intent listener and took notes on what we told her. We hired them and immediately we had the intention specialist come. Every step is very well thought through before moving forward. They provided us booklets of information to assist us with the process not only for the family members but steps to help our loved one. They don’t overload you with information but give you the information that you need when you need it. That was so helpful because you are overwhelmed as it is just trying to get help for your loved one. Andrew and Shahar are both very supportive, caring, helpful people that have lots of contacts all over the country and are a wealth of resources for every situation. Could not have gotten to this place without your assistance, support and direction. Thank you both!! Debbie Sattler

I simply cannot praise Drew and Shahar enough. When I needed help for a family members addiction, I had no idea where to turn, after calling multiple Intervention companies and Interventionists I found reflection and instantly felt like family. Their professionalism and compassion was unmatched in my search. They also have the most comprehensive family aftercare I could find, and continued to guide my family for six months after our successful intervention. It was scary at first, now I can’t imagine what I would have done without them.
