Let Us Walk With You Toward Recovery | Confidential And Private Support!
Getting someone into treatment matters. But getting someone into treatment was never the hardest part.
Changing the family system is.
Reflection Family Interventions provides professionally facilitated mental health and substance use interventions combined with structured family support before, during, and for six months following the intervention.
Recovery doesn’t fail because people don’t get help.
It fails when one person changes and the family stays the same.
Treatment often happens in episodes.
Families live with the problem for years.
Then one person enters treatment, the family receives a handful of educational sessions or phone calls, and everyone is expected to somehow know how to function differently when that person returns home.
We think that model is backwards.
Lasting change requires more than getting one person through the doors of a treatment center. The people around them need support, structure, education, accountability, and a clear plan for changing the patterns that developed around the problem.
That is why family recovery isn’t an add-on to our intervention process.
It is the intervention process.
The intervention is an event. Family recovery is a process. We provide both.
We work with the family to assess the situation, understand the family system, identify barriers to change, prepare participants, establish alignment, coordinate with existing professionals, and develop appropriate treatment options.
The family isn’t simply told when and where to show up.
They are prepared for what comes next.
The family then moves into six months of structured Family Recovery Coaching. The work focuses on areas including:
Because getting someone into treatment may begin the process.
Putting a healthier family system back together is where the real work happens.
Referring a family to an interventionist should not mean handing the family off and hoping everything works out.
Professionals should be able to ask:
At Reflection, we built our model around those questions.
Your referral isn’t a handoff.
When another professional trusts us with a family, we understand that our work reflects on them too.
Whenever appropriate and permitted, we collaborate with the professionals already involved in the family’s care
That may include:
Therapists
Psychiatrists
Physicians
Treatment providers
Case managers
Attorneys
Financial professionals
Family offices
Other trusted advisors
Our goal is not to replace the existing team.
Our goal is to help the family become capable of participating effectively in the work that team is already trying to accomplish.
Reflection works with families facing situations involving:
he traditional intervention model is often focused primarily on one outcome:
Did the person agree to treatment? That matters. But we believe there are bigger questions.
Did the family learn how to respond differently?
Did enabling change?
Did communication change?
Are boundaries actually sustainable?
Is the family prepared for treatment transitions?
What happens if the person leaves treatment early?
What happens when they come home?
Who helps the family navigate all of that?
Those are the questions our model was designed to answer.
If our approach to intervention and family recovery resonates with you, introduce yourself.
We would rather build a professional relationship now than meet for the first time when a family is already in crisis.
